lol, there's a mini segment in the magazine where they ask the guys what kind of an "award" (賞) they'd give other members, and i haven't read them all yet but from a short skim my favourite is yunho, who would -- wait. so while in japanese, 賞 is pronounced "shou", in korean, it's "sang". and the names of the awars go "something something-賞/award". and our yunho would give yeosang a... "yeo賞". and san, a "choi賞". dude... i love you
#shrimp thoughts#the way the award names is actually a little bit different but i simplified it#sometimes the award names end with de賞 which is a bit puzzling to me. because if you take the japanese pronunciation it's 'deshou'#making it something like. aren't you a [insertname]. eg iirc hj have jh an いい子de賞 which = Good Boy Award but also 'aren't you a good boy!'#but if you use the korean pronunciation then... de-sang? daesang? = grand prize; major award. hmm hmm
